Why do I have to pay a handling fee?

A handling fee is charged to cover the administrative work required when a traffic offence (such as speeding, unpaid tolls, or incorrect parking) occurs during your booking, or if damage is caused to the camper. This fee helps us process and forward official documents, communicate with authorities or insurances, manage necessary documentation, and update records efficiently. The handling fee ensures that all legal and administrative requirements are met, and is communicated transparently to avoid any surprises at the end of your rental experience. This charge is necessary to cover the operational expenses involved in managing these situations and to ensure a smooth process for all parties involved.
