To make your return process smooth and ensure the condition of your vehicle is clearly documented, here's a simple checklist to follow before bringing your vehicle back:
- Inspect the Exterior: Walk around the vehicle and look for any new scratches, dents, or other visible damage.
- Check the Interior: Make sure the inside is clean and free of trash, stains, or damage. Remove all personal belongings.
- Document the Condition: Take photos or videos of the vehicle at pick-up and at return – this gives you a clear record for yourself and a useful reference if any questions come up later. A visible timestamp is helpful so the images can be clearly assigned to the right point in time.
- Follow your Return Checklist: Return the vehicle with a full tank of fuel and according to the other mentioned requirements in your individual list to be found within your Customer Account.
- Report Any New Damage: If you notice any new damage, let us know before or at the time of return.
The return inspection report shows the condition of your vehicle at the time of return – it is not a cost notice. You will only hear from us if an invoice is actually raised – usually within 5–14 working days.
