FAQ´s
Kilometers:
The pick up and drop off locations are predefined, but you choose the route you want to drive. All kilometers are, as always, included.
Fuel:
Same as with a regular rental: your van is full of diesel on pick up and it must be returned full.
Deposit:
Your rally request is a binding booking provided that the route is available at the requested time. Therefore a 800€ / £650.00 deposit is required to be paid to roadsurfer before the start of the journey. You will need a VISA or Mastercard (credit or debit) to pay the deposit. At German stations, you can pay by EC card in an emergency.
Pick-up and return:
Select a suitable time slot directly when booking. Some appointments are subject to a charge.
Equipment:
Your booking includes a complimentary kitchen box with all that you need prepare food and utensils to eat with.
Two camping chairs and a camping table are always included with your van.
You can also add bedding to your booking for a small fee (if available).
Gas bottle is also included, as well as the chemicals for the toilet (if you have one).
Travelling with pets:
All models of vehicle can also be booked as dog campers for an additional fee of €99 per booking.
Cancellation policy:
If you cancel 59 days to 48 hours before departure, we will charge 50% of the total price as a cancellation fee and issue you with a voucher for the other 50%. Visit our FAQs for more information about cancellations.
Cleaning policy:
You will receive your roadsurfer vehicle cleaned inside and out! If you return your roadsurfer thoroughly cleaned (swept and wiped), you will not be charged for cleaning!
Additional information:
Participation in the campervan rally is only possible as a one-way trip. The vehicle must be clean and returned on time at the destination station and must remain there.
You are responsible for your outward journey as well as the the fuel, tolls, and any other additional costs.
