How much is the deposit?

Well, we are afraid there is no way around it, as accidents can unfortunately always happen. A security When you pick up your roadsurfer at the station, we ask you to pay the rental deposit of $850/CAN $1.200 (more currencies below) by credit card or debit card. We accept Visa or Mastercard (we only accept American Express in the USA). The amount will only be blocked for 30 days and automatically released again if everything is in order.
Keep in mind that some banks don´t reflect the release as a return in "+$850 / CAN $1.200", but delete the "-$850 / CAN $1.200" from your online banking automatically.

The deposit must always be retained in order to finalize your rental contract at the station, independently of the Carefree Package you choose. Read this article to know what the difference between the deposit and the excess is: Security deposit vs. excess?

Simply track the status of your deposit in your customer account.

Please note the following:

  • Unfortunately, it is not possible to pay the deposit in cash, by bank transfer in advance or by Paypal or American Express (outside the US).
  • Please check whether you know your PIN and whether the limit on your card is sufficient, as the deposit must be paid in one payment.
