Please note that the minimum age for renting a campervan varies depending on the country. Here is an overview depending on where you are renting:
Europe
- Europe (except Great Britain and Ireland): Drivers must be at least 18 years old and have one year of driving experience with a driving licence. (Driving experience counts from the moment you are authorised to drive a vehicle independently. In Germany and Austria, accompanied driving from the age of 17 is also recognised as driving experience. This does not apply in other countries.)
- Great Britain and Ireland: Drivers must be at least 21 years old and have one year of driving experience with a driving licence.
North America
USA, Canada: Drivers must be at least 21 years old and have one year of driving experience with a driving licence.
