Would you like to use the vehicle manufacturer's app during your rental period to personalize, locate, or open your vehicle?
For data protection and security reasons, it is currently and will remain impossible for rental customers to connect to a vehicle via a manufacturer app (e.g., Mercedes me or Volkswagen ID).
Our vehicles are registered centrally via a Roadsurfer fleet account with the respective manufacturer. This means that it is not possible to locate the vehicle via a personal account or open it via an app. This protects both your data and our property – especially outside the rental period.
But don't worry!
Features such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are still available as usual. Online services such as live traffic in the navigation system also work—in some cases even better—thanks to the central fleet registration. 😊
