This type of alarm is only installed in the new “Camper Cabin” models with the drawer fridge.
To sleep in the camper, the alarm system should be set accordingly so that it is not triggered by the slightest movement inside the vehicle.
To deactivate the alarm system in the Camper Cabin, proceed as follows:
- Close all doors in the vehicle
- Switch off the engine using the "Power Button" on the right side of the steering wheel
- A message should appear allowing you to choose between "Full Guard" and "Reduced Guard". If the alarm system is set to "Full Guard" when leaving the vehicle, a very loud alarm will sound if someone tries to enter or move inside the vehicle. For sleeping, select "Reduced Guard" to prevent the motion sensors inside the vehicle from being triggered.
If this pop-up does not appear, check the alarm system settings:
- Switch on the display in the cockpit area
- Select “Settings” in the top right
- In the next menu, select “Vehicle”
- Select“Alarm System”
- A new menu will appear. Make sure the option “Ask on Exit” is enabled.
