There is a small difference between the Camper Cabin models, so check which one you are driving and then select the correct instructions from the dropdown menus:
- Pull the marked lever (P) to activate the parking brake
- Press the marked lever (P) to release the parking brake
The parking brake of the Camper Cabin is designed so you can rotate the driver’s seat without hitting it. That’s why it drops back to the floor when engaged. This can give the impression that it’s not applied or not working.
When you try to release it, it may feel a bit unusual. To release the parking brake, press the button and pull the lever backwards until it clicks into place. This may require quite a bit of force – it might help if the passenger stands behind the driver’s seat.
If you are parked downhill, don’t forget to keep a foot on the brake so the vehicle doesn’t roll.
