🚿 Warm water and shower - Camper Castle (LMC Tourer Lift)

Here is everything you need to do for a warm shower in your Camper Castle. Since the Truma system, depending on the model, is operated with gas or diesel, the steps are slightly different:

Camper Castle LMC (Fiat/Citroen)
  • Check via the onboard display if you have enough fresh water in the water tank. For an extensive shower, we recommend a fill level of 50%:

  • Activate the water pump
  • The boiler must be filled with water. To do this, turn the tap to hot and let the water run briefly.
  • Open the gas bottle. You will find the bottle in the designated gas compartment outside the vehicle on the driver's side.
  • Then additionally turn the lower safety lever for the boiler on (horizontal). The lever is located behind the flap below the stove.

  • Then go to the Truma unit above the door and turn on the boiler.
To do this, turn the outer knob to the wave symbol, corresponding to the desired temperature (40° or 60°):

  • It takes about 20 minutes for the water to heat up.

Troubleshooting

  • The light in the Truma unit lights up orange when an error occurs.
  • Check if gas is generally flowing by, for example, turning on the stove.
  • Make sure the safety lever for the boiler (see above) is open.
  • Make sure the windows in the living area are closed. They are equipped with a sensor to prevent exhaust gases from the heater from entering the vehicle. To let the gas flow again, close the window, clear the error on the Truma unit by turning it off briefly, and restart the process.
  • If the onboard unit cannot be turned on, you can restart it. Press the black rotary knob for 20-30 seconds until the "on/off" light comes on.
