The large refrigerator with a small ice compartment is located on the left in the kitchen area when you enter the vehicle.
To switch on the refrigerator, make sure that the camper unit is activated:
Now you can switch on the fridge using the button above the fridge: Press and hold until it lights up blue.
Now set the desired cooling level using the snowflake symbol. We recommend level 3.
There is another button on the right-hand side, the "Mode" button. If you press the 'Mode' button, you can choose between night mode and boost mode.
- In boost mode, the refrigerator cools down much faster, but also consumes more battery.
- In night mode, the fridge is slightly quieter for 8 hours.
Be a little patient 🥰
Please be aware that it may take a few hours until the fridge is fully cooled down! The warmer the environment is and the more food you put in, the longer it may take.
You can speed up the cooling process by:
- putting food in, that already comes from a fridge
- adding cool-packs/ice-packs
Troubleshooting
What you should always check in the event of a fault:
- Charge status of the camping battery - Charge it if necessary or try to operate it via an external power source.
- Battery fuse, main fuse and, if necessary, RCD - Check that both are switched on, otherwise the living area will not be supplied with power.
Before any fuse is pulled, following safety measures is required:
- Turn off the engine and remove the key from the contact.
- Unplug the car from any external power supply.
- Pull carefully on the fuse by pulling from the sides.
- A damaged fuse can be burnt or have the connector broken (see picture). If so, please replace it. You can find them at petrol stations and hardware stores.
