To change the gas cylinders (2 x 11 kg), several steps must be followed to ensure safe handling:
- Position the shut-off valves behind the flap under the sink horizontally to close them.
- The gas compartment is located on the passenger side and can be opened with the medium-sized key on your key ring.
- First check that neither of the two cylinders contains any more gas and, if necessary, simply change the hose to the cylinder that is still full.
- If one or both cylinders are empty, close them anyway using the brass-colored valve.
- Unscrew the connection piece from the gas cylinder by hand (note: left-hand thread).
- Loosen the straps around the gas cylinder.
- Remove the cylinder from the compartment and replace it with a full one.
- Secure the bottle again with the straps.
- Screw the connection piece onto the gas bottle by hand (note: left-hand thread).
- Open the cylinder using the brass-colored valve.
Caution
- Do not use any tools to screw the connection piece to the gas cylinder, otherwise it may not be possible to unscrew it!
- Always close the stopcocks and the gas cylinders while driving!
- Please also note that the gas compartment must not be used as a storage space for safety reasons.
Please note that cylinders purchased outside Germany may require an adapter . You can find all possible adapters and information about gas suppliers abroad here.
