🔑 Keys & locking the vehicle - (UK) Cozy Cottage (Bürstner Lyseo)

When you pick up your camper, Roadsurfer will give you three keys, provided that a bike rack can be booked for this model and you have booked one. Otherwise, you will receive two keys. The large key is of course for locking and unlocking your camper. The middle key is for the fresh water tank, etc., and the smallest key is for the bike rack, if you have booked one.

Please note the following:

  • Always keep the keys together on the key ring.
  • Never leave the keys in the ignition when the vehicle is stationary. Otherwise the starter battery will discharge!
  • Always carry the key ring with you (this is why we provide you with a lanyard, so that you can wear it around your neck) and never leave it in the car; the car could lock automatically!

If necessary, you can use the child safety lock on both doors on the passenger side:

  • If the switch is in position A, the child safety lock is on
  • If the switch is in position B, the childproof lock is off

    Central locking

In addition to the key, you will find a central locking button for the doors on the driver's side so that nobody can get in (e.g. when you are at a red light or at night):

If you use this, be aware that no one can come in to rescue passengers in an emergency!
