🔄 Propane gas refill - Couple Cottage (Weinsberg CaraTour/CaraBus 600)

To change the gas cylinder (2.75 kg) in the Couple Cottage (Weinsberg CaraTour 600), several steps must be followed to ensure safe handling:

  1. First, check if the cylinder is empty by trying to ignite the gas stove.
  2. If the cylinder is empty and you want to replace it, first close the safety lever in the kitchen drawer (set vertically).
  3. Go to the trunk and open the gas compartment on the right side:
  4. Turn the cylinder by rotating the gold knob on top toward the "-" direction:
  5. Unscrew the connection piece from the gas cylinder by hand (caution: left-hand thread).
  6. Release the straps around the gas cylinder.
  7. Remove the cylinder from the compartment and replace it with a full one.
  8. Secure the cylinder again with the straps.
  9. Screw the connection piece onto the gas cylinder by hand (caution: left-hand thread).

Warning

  • Do not use tools to screw the connection piece onto the gas cylinder, as it may become impossible to remove!
  • Always close the shut-off valves and gas cylinders while driving!
  • Also note that the gas compartment must not be used for storage for safety reasons.

Fiat Ducato

To change the gas cylinder (11 kg) in the Couple Cottage (Weinsberg CaraBus 600), several steps must be followed to ensure safe handling:

  1. First, check if the cylinder is empty by trying to ignite the gas stove.
  2. If the cylinder is empty and you want to replace it, first close the safety levers in the drawer under the rear seat (set vertically).

  3. Go to the trunk, open the gas compartment on the left side, and turn the cylinder by rotating the gold knob on top toward the "-" direction:

  4. Unscrew the connection piece from the gas cylinder by hand (caution: left-hand thread).
  5. Release the straps around the gas cylinder.
  6. Remove the cylinder from the compartment and replace it with a full one.
  7. Secure the cylinder again with the straps.
  8. Screw the connection piece onto the gas cylinder by hand (caution: left-hand thread).
