💧 Fresh water and waste water/ gray water - Liberty Lodge (Winnebago Solis 59PX)

The Liberty Lodge has a water system that provides running water to the shower and two sinks. The used water then runs into the waste water (also called gray water) tank.

Water levels

In the Liberty Lodge you can check the level of the fresh water using a light switch on the kitchen block. This will illuminate the glass on the water tank allowing you to see the level in it:

To tell how much gray water you have in your tank you can use the Winnebago display above the back seats. Press the button with the word "gray". A light will show you the current level of the tank. I.e. "E" stands for Empty:

Fresh water

To fill the freshwater tank open the back door in the rear driver’ side of the vehicle and then screw the hose (stored in the back left storage compartment in the rear of the vehicle) into the white hose outlet. Once it is plugged, either use the fresh water hose we provide or use the one provided by the campground (whichever you prefer).

Set the 4 colorful levers to "PowerFill" Tank according to the diagram on the water unit (white and blue pointing down, red pointing up and green pointing towards the left):

Wait AT THE VAN while filling it. Make sure you do not leave the van and overfill the tank by a lot as the water will flow out into the van causing water damage if being excessively overfilled.

The CITY FILL valve on the side of the vehicle will NOT fill your water tank. It is only used on campgrounds as a constant water source and will need a pressure adjuster. So please don’t use the city fill as it can lead to issues.

Once you notice water flowing out underneath the vehicle turn of the water right away. It is normal for it to drip a little bit and to loose some water on the road while driving when it is filled to the brim as it has an overflow protection.

Attention: the fresh water is not drinking water.

To empty the fresh water tank you need to go to the passenger seat and lift the cushion cover by pulling from the yellow lever. Remove the black box to access the tank area. You will see a yellow lever connected to a pipe. Flip it around to let the water flow out.

Gray water

All used water from the shower and sinks ends up in the gray water tank. The tank is way smaller than the fresh water tank, as some water is used up and some goes to the toilet casette when flushing.

You can empty out as follows: open the sewer hose box located on the driver's side of the vehicle near the rear bumper and take the hose out. The gray water waste tank is located on the driver' side, just below the toilet cassette compartment. Connect the hose to the outlet and place the other end of the hose where you want to dump the water to and pull on the gray lever. As soon as you pull the lever gray water will start flowing out (so be sure you have the hose set up already).

Once you notice no more gray water pouring out, push in the gray lever and store the hose back in the box. Please make sure the box is properly locked to make sure it does not open while driving. Otherwise you could loose the hose!

Please make sure the gray water is emptied before returning the vehicle to the station.
