Fresh water
For hygienic reasons, the fresh water tank is always handed over empty. The fresh water tank (100 L) is located on the passenger side and serves the washbasin, toilet and indoor/outdoor shower. To open it, you need the medium-sized key. Insert the key into the tank lock and turn it to open. Press the tank cap while turning it to release it:
The fresh water tank can be filled using a canister with an attachment or a hose. Please make sure that the fresh water and waste water tanks are closed. They may still be open from the previous rental.
To empty/open or close the fresh water tank, turn the black knob on top of the tank. To do this, lift the mattress at the head end and open the lid:
Caution: Fresh water is not drinking water!
Waste water
The waste water tank (90L) is located under the camper on the driver's side. To open the grey water tank, take the grey crank from the cupboard under the table.
Put it on the metal pin under the car, which is located directly under the toilet cassette:
You can see the levels of the fresh and waste water tanks in the on-board unit:

Troubleshooting
Water leaking under the vehicle
If water leaks under the vehicle, this can have various causes:
- Please check if the levers of both tanks are closed.
- The cold protection valve may be open. It is located behind the flap under the rear seat cushion:
- Also check that the boiler valve next to the antifreeze is closed. You will see a white tube with a blue knob on it. Turn it to make sure it is closed and no water is coming out from under the car:
-
No water flows
If you turn on the tap but no water flows, this can be due to several reasons:
- First check the level on the on-board unit to see if the fresh water tank is full enough.
There should be at least 20 liters of water in the fresh water tank so that the pump is completely covered with water and filled so that it automatically unlocks after running dry!
- Check whether the water pump on the on-board unit is switched on (button on the left side shows symbol of a water tap).
- If you can no longer hear the pump, the fuse of the water pump or the tank sensors may be damaged.
-
The fuses are located under the driver's seat, behind a plastic cover.
The fuse you are looking for is a 7.5A fuse and is the first from the right. Underneath it is marked PUMPE. Check and replace if necessary:
- First check the level on the on-board unit to see if the fresh water tank is full enough.
Frischwasser

No water flows
If you turn on the tap but no water flows, there may be several reasons for this:
- First check the fill level on the on-board unit to see whether the fresh water tank is sufficiently full.
There should be at least 20 liters of water in the fresh water tank so that the pump is completely covered with water and filled so that it automatically unlocks after running dry! - Check whether the water pump on the on-board unit is switched on:
- If you can no longer hear the pump, the fuse for the water pump or the tank sensors may be damaged.
- The fuses are located in the trunk on the driver's side, next to the gas locker.
The fuse you are looking for is labeled “Pump”.
- First check the fill level on the on-board unit to see whether the fresh water tank is sufficiently full.
The cold protection (or anti freeze) valve automatically drains the boiler when there is a risk of frost. This prevents the drain from freezing.
The system measures the temperature inside the van. As soon as it is around 3 degrees or lower the system is activated and lets all the water that was in the boiler and the fresh water tank out. To deactivate the system, the room temperature has to be a least 7 degrees, otherwise the blue button will jump out again.
To ensure that the water supply continues to function and the valve is switched on, the blue lever must be turned clockwise and then the blue button must be pressed in.
Before any fuse is pulled, following safety measures is required:
- Turn off the engine and remove the key from the contact.
- Unplug the car from any external power supply.
- Pull carefully on the fuse by pulling from the sides.
- A damaged fuse can be burnt or have the connector broken (see picture). If so, please replace it. You can find them at petrol stations and hardware stores.
If the water pump does not activate when you turn on the tap (ATTENTION only for vehicles without a separate water pump button), the micro-switch on the tap lever is probably defective.
To still put the water pump in the ready state, follow these steps:
- Test the other tap (e.g. kitchen or bathroom).
- If another tap works, open it just a little so that you can hear the water pump, but no water flows.
- Now open the tap with the defective micro switch. The water should now run.
Attention: Don't forget to close both taps completely afterwards!
