🚾 Toilet - Family Freedom (Thor Four Winds 22E/21Z)

The Camper is equipped with a toilet.

To use the toilet:

1. Preparation for use: Pour in 2/3 solbio bottle + 4 gallons of water before first use!
   Family Freedom has a HUGE black water tank and thus needs a lot of liquid to avoid dried debris. 
2. Make sure the fresh water tank is filled and the water pump is on. You can do that on the board computer next to the entrance door:
   
3. After use, press the lever underneath the toilet halfway down to fill the toilet bowl with water, then press the lever completely to open the hatch to the toilet tank.
   
4. The toilet tank must be emptied at the latest when its full. You can check the level of the black water tank on the board computer as well.
   

To empty the black water (approx. every 2-5 days):

1. The black water tank in located on the driver's side at the rear of the vehicle:
   
2. Open the flap marked above with the small grey key on your key ring.
3. Unscrew the black screw cap and attach the drain hose, which is located in the rear bumper and hang it in the emptying pit.
   
   
4. Now pull the black lever and wait until the tank is completely empty.
   
5. Then pull the grey lever to also empty the waste water tank. That altready flushes most dirt out of the hose. 
6. You will find two water connections at the rear on te driver's side, use the left-hand connection, not the City water connection, and connect the hose to the water station at the emptying point. 
   

7. Open the water at the water station it self and wait until clear water runs out of the emptying hose.

8. Now your toilet tank is empty and cleaned. Don´t forget to use "SOLBIO" bevor using the toilet next time.

9. Sometimes it makes sense to flush the toilet while the black water tank is being emptied so that the toilet tank is completely cleaned from above.

Troubleshoot:

• If your black water tank is empty but the level is still displayed as full, activate the flush several times. Perhaps something has got into the water level sensor.
   
• You can activate the flush only half (to avoid the flap from opening) and pour the bowl full of water. Then press the foot pedal of the flush completely down to splash this big amount of water down the tank. This might loosen stuck debris.
• There might be some dried debris that caked within the tank. Pour in a big amount of water, pour in 2/3 bottle of Solbio and let ist sit for a few hours/drive around. Then empty again.
