A road trip in the USA or Canada is a great adventure! Once you start organizing your trip, there are a few things to keep in mind:
- You must return your vehicle to the country where you picked it up. This is because of the legal requirements when a vehicle has US or Canadian license plates.
- So if you book the pick-up in L.A., for example, you can drop it off at any other US station. However, if you book a pick-up in Vancouver, for example, you can only return the vehicle to a Canadian station.
- During your road trip, you can of course cross the border between Canada and the USA. Bear in mind that you may need a visa to enter another country.
- Please note that one-way trips are subject to a fee, which may vary depending on the route and availability.
