To ensure that all 12V electronic devices work without external power, the camping battery voltage should never fall below 12V (50%).
To use any kind of power in the Liberty Lodge the kill switch to your right in the side entrance area should always be ON (pointing towards the right). If it is ever OFF (pointing up), switch it back to ON:
There are several lights in the Liberty Lodge:
- You can control each light via the main panel. The main panel is located in the side entrance on the passenger side, above the beds. The panel has a lightbulb symbol where you can turn on and off all lights inside and outside of the vehicle and even dim the lights. From the detail setting you can choose which light to turn on. Slide the bar to dim:
Next time you select the shortcut "Lights" from the main screen, the selection you made here is switched on/off. - There is a light switch for the bathroom light in the bathroom:
- Small lamps underneath the wall unit in the living area can be activated by pressing on the glass part of the lamp it self:
- You can switch on the reading lights in the roof bed by pressing the silver button:
- The switch for the light in the trunk you can find in the back of the vehicle when the back doors are open:
The lights only work if you have a charged battery. So make sure the van is charged and good to go.
Make sure you don’t leave the lights in the driver’s cabin on as they will drain the vehicle battery - not the camper lithium battery!
The Liberty Lodge has several 12V, USB and 120V sockets:
Kitchen
- 2 sockets on the side of the kitchen unit next to the sliding door:
- 2 sockets 1 USB 1 USB-C power strip on top of the kitchen unit:
Living area
- 2 sockets 2 USB underneath the back seat:
- 2 sockets behind the TV:
Entrance area
- 2 sockets in front of the fridge:
Upper bed
- 2 USB directly on each lamp (left and right side):
The inverter
The microwave, the TV, the AC and the regular 120V outlets only work if the inverter is on and working. To check if the inverter is on, check the MASTERVOLT panel above the side entrance.:
If it says INVERTING everything is good and ready to go, same goes if it says CHARGING/ABSORPTION or CHARGING/BULK it is also working but plugged into the shore power.
If it says OFF or the whole screen stays black, the inverter isn’t working. If it simply says OFF try pressing the first little black button on it, normally that should turn it on.
Here is a video on how to use the inverter:
