To change the propane gas bottle (11 kg) in the Couple Cottage (Bürstner Lineo/Signeo), several steps must be followed to ensure safe handling:
- Close the safety lever in the kitchen drawer (set it horizontal).
- Go to the boot and open the gas compartment on the left side:
- First check that neither bottle contains any more gas.
- If one or both bottles are empty, close them anyway at the brass-coloured valve, direction "-" .
- Unscrew the connector from the gas bottle by hand (attention: left-hand thread).
- Loosen the straps around the gas bottle.
- Take the bottle out of the compartment and replace it with a full one.
- Securely fasten the bottle again with the straps.
- Screw the connector onto the gas bottle by hand (attention: left-hand thread).
Attention
- Do not use any tools to screw the connector onto the gas bottle, otherwise it may not be possible to unscrew it!
- Be sure to close the stopcocks and the gas bottles while driving!
- Please also note that for safety reasons the gas compartment must not be used as a storage space.
