There are different options to secure your dog during your journey with your roadsurfer.🐶
If you bring along a pet, please make sure to select the dog fee during the booking process or add it afterwards in the equipment section in your customer account.
Transport box
We do not rent dog crates, but you are welcome to bring your own. To see if your crate fits in your booked vehicle, check the trunk dimensions on the website. Make sure to bring a transport box that not only fits into the vehicle you booked but also fits the size of your dog and complies with safety standards.
You can use lashing straps to secure the transport box. Most vehicles are equipped with eyelets in the trunk or belts in the seating area to secure loading.
Leash adapter
Alternatively to a transport box, you can strap your dog on the seat to the belt buckle with a special leash adapter and harness. Those can be purchased and fitted in most pet stores.
