Here is how to use your toilet in the Horizon Hopper:
- Make sure the fresh water tank is filled by checking the board unit above the back seat:
- Turn on the water pump on the board unit.
- Push the grey lever below the toilet seat to open the cassette:
- Press the blue button to flush:
- Close the cassette again by moving the gray lever.
Emptying toilett cassette
You can tell if the cassette is full by looking at the little round indicator on the side of the toilet. Green means empty/not full, red means full/please empty me.
- To empty the toilet cassette (approx. every 2-5 days), open the toilet compartment door from the outside.
- Push the lever at the bottom of the tank upwards and pull the tank out at the same time.
- At the emptying station: Turn the grey tube 90 degrees, unscrew the lid and press the opposite button with your thumb (vent for faster drainage).
- Carefully tip out the toilet cassette, rinse again with water and fill in "Solbio" for the next use.
Some dump stations have a hose to rinse out toilets properly. Please DO NOT use the freshwater hose for that purpose!
Remember to pour in the yellow solution we provide you, called Solbio, to avoid bad smells inside the camper. The instructions are on the bottle and the bottle is inside your bathroom mirror. Use Solbio every time after you dumped out the cassette and before the first use.
