The fridge and freezer in your Family Freedom run on electricity.
The main battery switch must be activated:
Move the dial in the fridge to adjust the cooling level (0= off).
The cooling level of the freezer can be adjusted by the small lever on the back wall of the freezer.

Be a little patient 🥰
Please be aware that it may take a few hours until the fridge is fully cooled down! The warmer the environment is and the more food you put in, the longer it may take.
You can speed up the cooling process by:
- putting food in, that already comes from a fridge
- adding cool-packs/ice-packs
Troubleshooting
Please note that the fridge will drain the vehicle battery if you let the motorhome battery run completely flat. This would mean the engine will not start.
If the fridge does not turn on:
- Start the engine and try again.
- Please check that the main power switch is on and that there is enough power in the camping battery:
- Check the fuse for the fridge. You can find them behind the black plastic cover at the lower edge of the bed facing the cockpit:
- Look for the fuse labeled "Appliances":
Before any fuse is pulled, following safety measures is required:
- Turn off the engine and remove the key from the contact.
- Unplug the car from any external power supply.
- Pull carefully on the fuse by pulling from the sides.
- A damaged fuse can be burnt or have the connector broken (see picture). If so, please replace it. You can find them at petrol stations and hardware stores.
