Life is not always 100% predictable, so there can be several reasons for delays:
- Flight delays or cancellations ✈️
- Traffic jams or road closures 🚗
- Public transport delays 🚆
- GPS or navigation errors 🗺️
- Personal emergencies 🚑
- Weather conditions 🌧️❄️

I am late for pick-up
When you book your Roadsurfer, you agree a specific pick-up time, which we then schedule for you. If you miss this time, you can of course pick it up later (within opening hours May - September: 5 p.m.; October - April: 4 p.m.). However, there may be delays because the pick-up times are of course tightly scheduled and a postponement is not planned.
If your collection is delayed so much that you slip outside opening hours, you will unfortunately only be able to collect the following day in the morning. In this case, please let us know via the Contact section so that we don't wait for you in vain.
I am late for the return
When you book your roadsurfer, you agree to a specific return time. We kindly ask you to consider the route and the traffic conditions to make it on time.
Consider that we have to prepare the car after your return and we have to be very strict about late returns. Therefore, for every hour of delay after the agreed return time, we calculate a 50USD fee.
We understand that even when you plan ahead, things can happen that delay your arrival. If this is the case, please contact us as soon as possible via the Contact section. Click ‘I have an existing booking’ > ‘I am already on the way’ > ‘I have a question about the return’ > ‘Other request’.
