To ensure that all 12V electronic devices work without external power, the camping battery voltage should never fall below 12V (50%).
The lighting in the Travel Home works via the camping battery. The battery must be sufficiently charged for operation.
You can switch on the light on the touch panel above the air conditioning controls. Switch on the touch panel with the on/off button on the panel between the driver and passenger seats and select Mercedes Advanced Control to land on the camper unit. Use the first button on the left to switch the lights on and off:
Press the Lights icon. You can switch on all the lights at once or each area individually. Select the area you want to switch on and press the on/off button.
The interior lighting includes the following lights in addition to those in the car:
- Dimmable reading lights in pop-up roof
- Ambient lighting kitchenette
- Dimmable lights in the roof frame between B- and C-pillar
- Reading lights above the seat-berth combination
- Reading lights next to the roof storage box
If there are no lights in the car, make sure the FI switch is switched on and you have enough battery.
The Travel Home is equipped with several outlets for your appliances:
- A 230V socket (only works if the vehicle is connected to an external power supply) in the kitchen block, behind the driver's seat.
- USB ports: two behind the driver's seat on the front of the kitchen cabinet two on the roof frame in the front of the pop-up roof.
- Additional12 V connections are located in the centre console above the display of the central control unit, in the right-hand side trim in the rear, in the right-hand side trim next to the load compartment door.
