There is a slight difference between the Camper Cabin models, so check which one you are driving and then, select the correct instructions from the drop down menus:
The gas bottle (2,75 kg) on the Camper Cabin (Ford Nugget) is located in the compartment under the fridge. To access it, follow these steps:
- Open the refrigerator enough so that you can reach into the door below to open it:
- Unscrew all four screws and remove the plastic cover:
- To open/close turn the golden valve to the (+/-) symbol:
To cook:
- Open both glass covers, as the heat from cooking could cause the cover over the sink to shatter:
- Press and hold the black knob (1) on the desired gas hob and turn it to the large flame. Then press the igniter (2):
Attention: It is essential to close the gas bottle when driving!

The gas bottle (2,75kg) is located behind the backseat under the kitchen unit. To access the gas bottle, lift and remove the cushion or board of the sleeping bench:
- Open the black rotating lid:
- Turn on the gas bottle in the back, using the brass-colored rotary control to "+".
- Turn on the second lever (gray) under the stove in the direction of the pipe's run.
It is a bit hidden: look for it right under the kitchen counter. Put your hand on the opening to the bed under the kitchen sink. Feel under the counter until you find a small hole. There, you will find the lever:
To cook:
- Open both glass covers:
- Press and hold the black knob (1) on the desired gas hob and turn it to the large flame. Then press the igniter (2):

Lighting the gas stove can sometimes take several attempts and/or seconds.
This is because when the gas pipe is empty, it must first fill up completely before propane gas can escape from the stove.
It is quite normal to smell a slight odor of propane gas before the stove ignites.
Troubleshooting
You should be able to hear a slight hiss of the gas flow and also smell the gas. If not, check the gas flow again from start to finish:
- Is the gas bottle full? Lift it or weigh it: a completely full bottle weighs about 6.4kg, an empty bottle about 3.7kg.
- Is the gas bottle open? Turn it at least 2 turns towards "+".
- Is the grey safety lever in the kitchen open? It must be in the direction of the gas line to be open. Usually, there is a sticker showing which position is open.
If you still don't hear the click despite working power, the electric igniter may be defective. In this case, you can carefully ignite the gas at the stove ring with a lighter.
Please note that only the model with a drawer refrigerator does not have a grey safety lever!
