Here you can find out how to cook in the Camper:
Check the Propane level (LPG). This is possible via the on-board unit inside (next to the entrance door) or on the propane tank itself:
Propane tank passenger side:
To let the Propane flow, open the gray rotary handle counterclockwise:
Propane tank driver side:
To let the propane flow, turn the grey valve anticlockwise:
There are two slightly different cooking options
Option 1:
- To ignite the stove, press the corresponding knob of the desired burner in, turn it to "high" while simultaneously using the left-hand knob "Igniter" to ignite the Propane. (This can sometimes take several attempts as the Popane output has to fill first).
- To ignite the oven, press the right-hand knob in and turn it to "high" while simultaneously igniting the Propane with the left-hand "Igniter" knob. (This can sometimes take several attempts as the gas output has to fill with gas first).
You should then see a small flame ignite in the back of the oven. Turn up the temperature and the whole row of fire will light up: - To use the microwave, the camper must be connected to external power or the generator must be running. Select the desired program on the right-hand side and press the "Start" button.
Option 2:
To ignite the stove, press the corresponding knob of the desired burner in, turn it to "high" while simultaneously using the "Igniter" button next to the right rotary knob, to ignite the Propane. (This can sometimes take several attempts as the Propane output has to fill first).
To use the microwave/oven combo, the camper must be connected to external power or the generator must be running. Select the desired program on the right-hand side and press the "Start" button:
Lighting the gas stove can sometimes take several attempts and/or seconds.
This is because when the gas pipe is empty, it must first fill up completely before propane gas can escape from the stove.
It is quite normal to smell a slight odor of propane gas before the stove ignites.
Caution
- Take out the metal rack, before using the microwave function of the combi-device! Metal is not supposed to be used in microwaves!
- After cooking and especially when driving, be sure to close the rotary handle on the Propane tank by turning it clockwise.
- Please also note that the Propane compartment must not be used as storage space for safety reasons.
