The bike rack on your Camper Castle can hold a maximum of 60kg for three bikes combined. The maximum capacity per individual rail is 30kg.
Be sure to check the weight, especially if you want to take e-bikes, because most e-bikes exceed the maximum weight!
- Lower the bike rack. Secure it to the carrier with the plastic straps.
- Adjust the position of the bike straps on the rail according to the bike and open the straps:
- First fasten the frame locks at the top and then strap the bikes to the rails::
- If possible, use a tension strap to secure two bikes.
- Lock the frame locks so that your bikes cannot be stolen. If they are locked, the handle can still be turned but not opened.
- Replace the Italy/Spain warning sign with the reusable cable ties.
Attention
- You are responsible for ensuring that the bikes are secured at all times while participating in road traffic.
- If you are only transporting one bike, use the rail closest to the boot.
- Make sure that the wheels do not cover the rear lights or indicators.
- If you open the boot doors with loaded bicycles, make sure that the bicycles do not damage the side of the van.
