♨️ Heating - Camper Cabin (Ford Nugget)

The parking heater in the Camper Cabin also works when the engine is not running. The heater is powered by the camper battery and diesel. Make sure that the tank and battery are at least 1/3 full so that the heater works all night.

There is a slight difference between the Camper Cabin models, so check which one you are driving and then, select the correct instructions from the drop down menus:

  1. Activate the board computer by touching the screen
  2. Press the ON/OFF button:

Troubleshooting (only applies to models with fridge door at the top)

Make sure your camping battery is sufficiently charged (more than 12.3V) and you have enough diesel in the fuel tank (at least 1/3).

  • Set the lowest setting first and then increase it when the car has warmed up.
  • Switch off the battery switch (big red switch under the kitchen unit) for a few minutes and then switch it on again.
  • If the previous reset did not help, switch off the main battery and check the fuses:

Before any fuse is pulled, following safety measures is required:

  1. Turn off the engine and remove the key from the contact.
  2. Unplug the car from any external power supply.
  3. Pull carefully on the fuse by pulling from the sides.
  4. A damaged fuse can be burnt or have the connector broken (see picture). If so, please replace it. You can find them at petrol stations and hardware stores.

The fuse we are looking for is on the side of the lower bed, under the kitchen. The fuse we need to check here is the 25A fuse, which is fifth on the models with the camping unit at the front and third on the models with the camping unit at the back.

Wait a few minutes before putting it back in. The heating should now work. If you still experience issues, don't hesitate to contact us.
