The bicycle carrier can be attached to the trailer coupling. It transports up to 4 bicycles with a maximum total weight of 63 kg (but only 23.5 kg max. per rail, 17 kg on the additional rail).
Operating the bike carrier
- Open the bicycle carrier by carefully pulling it downwards from above:
- Move the holders on the rails to the left or right to attach the bicycle.
- Loosen the straps on the holders to make handling easier.
- Start loading the bikes onto the rail furthest away. The heaviest bike should be closest to the car.
- Attach the shorter arm to the top of the first bike and run the tie-down straps through the tyres to secure the bike. If necessary, adjust the position of the strap holders.
- Lock the bike with the supplied key (the same key fits all locks) through the keyhole in each arm of the bike carrier.
- Repeat this procedure if more bicycles are to be transported.
- To open the boot, slide the security lock and press to slide the bike carrier:
Please note:
- The bicycle carrier must never be loaded with more than 63 kg total weight.
- Open the boot carefully with the bicycles mounted. The rear can be damaged!
- When loading and unloading the bicycles, take care not to scratch the surface of the vehicle or the window of the boot.
