To change the gas bottle (2.75kg) in the Travel Home (Mercedes Marco Polo), several steps must be followed to ensure safe handling:
- Close the safety lever located in the kitchen
- Go to the trunk of the car and open the rear wardrobe
- Remove the shelf on the very bottom
- Open the white screw cover. The gas bottle compartment is accessible now:
- Turn the gas valve all the way to "-" to close the gas bottle:
- Loosen the straps around the bottle
- Loosen the grey metal connector from the bottle
- Extract the bottle from the compartment
- Remove the brass colored adapter and screw it on to the new bottle
- Place the new bottle in the compartment and attach it to the tube using the connector. Make sure it sits correctly and tightly
