🚲 Bike rack - Road House (Bürstner Eliseo/Campeo)

The bike rack on your Road House can hold a maximum of 35kg for both bikes combined. The maximum capacity per individual rail is 19kg.

Be sure to check the weight, especially when you are planning on bringing E-bikes, as most E-bikes exceed the weight maximum!

  1. Remove the Italy/Spain warning sign. It is attached with reusable cable ties.
  2. Unlock the frame locks with the small silver bike rack key (if not already unlocked).

  5. First secure the frame locks on top, then strap tight the wheels on the rails:

  6. If possible, use a tension belt, to secure two bikes.
  7. Lock the frame locks to prevent your bikes from being stolen. When locked, the handle can still be turned, but it does not open.
  8. Reattach the Italy/Spain warning sign with the reusable cable ties.

Attention

  • You are responsible for making sure the bikes are always secured while participating in traffic.
  • When transporting only one bike, use the rail closest to the trunk.
  • Make sure that the wheels do not cover the tail lights or indicators.
  • When opening the trunk doors with bikes loaded, be careful that the bikes to not damage the side of the van.
