The refrigerator (62L) with small ice compartment is located on the front side of the kitchen unit:
To turn it on by pressing the round button on the top:
Press it briefly to move through the menu. To adjust the temperature, turn the button until the bars between snow flakes light up. Press again shortly to select and turn the wheel to the desired temperature. We recommend 3 bars (7°-8°C).
You can open the fridge from the left and the right side of the door. Make sure to always pull from the middle of the handle. Should one of the sides not open correctly, make sure the opposite side is properly closed and correctly engaged in the hinges.
Troubleshooting
If the fridge isn't turning on, make sure you have enough battery. If you do, but it is still not working, start the engine and then try again. This should give the camping battery a push to recharge
If the fridge is still not working, please check if the main Power Switch is switched on = "ein".
If that does not help, we can check if the fridge fuse is damaged or burnt.
Before any fuse is pulled, following safety measures is required:
- Turn off the engine and remove the key from the contact.
- Unplug the car from any external power supply.
- Pull carefully on the fuse by pulling from the sides.
- A damaged fuse can be burnt or have the connector broken (see picture). If so, please replace it. You can find them at petrol stations and hardware stores.
The fuse we are looking for is under the passenger seat, behind a plastic cover. There you will find several fuses. The fuse responsible for the refrigerator is the 20A fuse:
Check if the fuse is damaged or burnt. If not, wait about 15 seconds and insert it again in the same position.
The fridge should be reset and be working again.
