Zelfs als je niet in de camper zit, is het aan te raden om de standkachel aan te laten.
8-10°C is voldoende!
Op deze manier gaat de vorstbeveiligingsmonitor niet af en blijft het water in de tank.
Houd er rekening mee dat de verwarming niet alleen gas/diesel verbruikt, maar ook veel elektriciteit. Je kunt meestal 1-2 dagen zelfvoorzienend zijn met je Roadsurfer voordat je de accu moet opladen door te rijden of walstroom te gebruiken. Controleer 's avonds of de campingaccu minstens 12,3 V (50%) spanning heeft - anders wordt het een koude nacht! Als de verwarming niet genoeg spanning heeft en je start hem meerdere keren tevergeefs, dan kan het systeem om veiligheidsredenen volledig blokkeren.
Over het algemeen ben je veiliger op een camping met walstroom in de winter, omdat er geen risico is op fouten met de verwarming door onderspanning.

Tank heating
Since the grey water tank is located under the vehicle, it is heated by the heating system to prevent freezing.
Some Cozy Cottages have an additional heating circuit to direct the warm air from the heating system directly there:
- Open the service flap on the driver’s side with the medium-sized key:
- To the right of the water tank, you’ll see a white cord. It may be pulled out and fixed in the clip.
- To open the ventilation slots and direct the hot air to the tank, loosen the cord so that it hangs loosely as shown in the picture!
If the outside temperature is always above 0 degrees, pull up the white cord and fix it in the clips so that the heating air only goes into the living area.
