How do I return my campervan?

To ensure that everything goes smoothly when returning the vehicle, please note the following:

  • Please return your camper cleaned inside (swept, vacuumed and wiped). Empty the toilet and water tanks. If you are on your way back and are looking for a quick waste disposal station to dispose of waste water and empty the toilet, check here.
  • If you can't do this with the best will in the world, we will have to deduct 100€ cleaning costs from your deposit.
  • Please fill up the fuel tank just before you drop off your vehicle.  You can usually find a petrol station near our locations. If you do not return your fuel tank full, we unfortunately have to charge you a service fee. You can find more information about this in our terms and conditions.
  • Make sure to return your roadsurfer with a filled up propane gas tank. Otherwise we have to charge you a fee to refill it. You can find the nearest location to fill up gas here. Some RV parks and Campgrounds may also provide this service.

  • Wipe the windscreen. A visit to the car wash is not necessary and could possibly damage the pop-up roof or the film coating.

When you return the vehicle, please hand the keys back to one of our staff members, who will check the camper for damages and that all equipment has been returned. This process will take a few minutes depending on the condition of your return, and then your campervan is ready to be sent off to our clean team to get prepared for our clean and ready seal of approval.
