What are the cancellation terms?

This article explains how you can rebook or cancel your existing booking via your customer account: Customer account – postpone, extend or cancel a booking.

Rebook

Your perks with roadsurfer: If you want to change your booking, this is possible free of charge up to 48 hours before departure. The currently valid prices are always charged for the rebooking. Only if the price for the rebooking is lower, will a rebooking fee be charged on the excess amount paid:

  • You rebook more than 60 days before departure: We will refund the overpaid amount in full.
  • If you rebook between 59 days and 48 hours before departure, the following conditions apply:
    • With roadsurfer Flex Option: We will issue you a voucher for the overpayment.
    • Without roadsurfer Flex Option: We will charge 50% of the overpayment

Cancellation

  • Cancellation up to 60 days before the first rental day: Your cancellation is free of charge.
  • Cancellation between 59 days and 48 hours before departure: We charge 50% of the total price as a cancellation fee and issue you with a voucher for the other 50%. If you have chosen the roadsurfer flex option when booking, we will issue you a voucher for the total amount.
  • Less than 48 hours before departure: Cancellation free of charge or cancellation in exchange for a voucher is no longer possible.
