- To enter the USA , you need a Visa or ESTA* (costs = 21 US$)
- When driving into Canada during your roadtrip: You do not need a Visa for Canada when entering by land or boat for transit or tourist purposes.

- You need an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) to board a flight to CAN (costs = 7 CAD$)
- When driving into USA during your roadtrip: ESTA* or US Visa is required (costs = 21 US$)
* ESTA takes up to 72 hours to be issued.
