Here you can find out how to cook in the Camper Castle (Bürstner Limited T):
- Open the gas bottle by turning the brass-coloured metal knob on the gas bottle towards the "+" sign. The gas bottles are located in the gas compartment on the driver's side of the car. You can access the compartment from the outside:
- Depending on the bottle connetion type, you might need to push the black venting button to release the air from the tube and get the gas flowing.
- Turn on the gas on the grey security valve below the stove (vertically). It is the one on the right with a cook pot symbol.
- Open the glas lid covering the stove.
- Start the flame on the stove by turning and pushing the button in and ignite with the small black knob:
Lighting the gas stove can sometimes take several attempts and/or seconds.
This is because when the gas pipe is empty, it must first fill up completely before propane gas can escape from the stove.
It is quite normal to smell a slight odor of propane gas before the stove ignites.
Attention:
After cooking and especially when driving, you must close the grey shut-off valve and the gas bottle!
Please also note that, for safety reasons, the gas compartment must not be used as a storage space.

Troubleshooting
You should hear a faint hissing sound from the gas and also be able to smell the gas. If this is not the case, check the gas flow thoroughly from start to finish:
- Is the gas bottle full? Lift or weigh it: a completely full bottle weighs about 23 kg, an empty bottle about 12 kg.
- Is the gas bottle open? Turn it at least 2 turns towards the "+".
- Has the hose rupture protection been vented? Some models have a black button directly on the bottle valve. Press it firmly – you will hear a metallic click and this will release the air from the line.
- Is the grey safety lever in the kitchen open? It should be pointing towards the gas line to be open. There is usually a sticker showing which position is open.
If you still do not hear the click despite working power, the electric igniter may be faulty. In this case, you can carefully ignite the gas at the hob ring with a lighter.
