The auxiliary heating in the Camper Cabin also works when the engine is off. The heater is powered by the camper battery and diesel. Make sure the tank and battery are at least 1/3 full so the heater works all night.
There are small differences between the Camper Cabin models, so check which one you are driving and then select the correct instructions from the dropdown menus:
- Activate the control panel by touching the screen
- Press the ON/OFF button:
- Select between ventilation or heating (for a warm camper, select the flame symbol):
- Select the desired temperature using the (+/-) buttons:
You can find the video explanation here:
- Switch on the device using the ON/OFF button on the right side
- Select the heating symbol in the menu bar at the bottom
- The heating menu appears and shows the temperature the heater was last set to
- Switch on the heater using the ON/OFF button at the bottom left:
- Select the temperature using the “-/+” buttons:
- Switch on the camping unit
- Turn the dial in the menu until the symbol with the 3 upward-pointing wave arrows is selected.

Troubleshooting (applies only to model with top fridge door)
Make sure your camping battery is sufficiently charged (more than 12.3 V) and you have enough diesel in the tank (at least 1/3).
- First set the lowest setting and then increase it once the vehicle has warmed up.
- Switch off the battery switch (large red switch under the kitchen unit) for a few minutes and then switch it on again.
- If the previous reset did not help, switch off the main battery and check the fuses:
Before any fuse is pulled, following safety measures is required:
- Turn off the engine and remove the key from the contact.
- Unplug the car from any external power supply.
- Pull carefully on the fuse by pulling from the sides.
- A damaged fuse can be burnt or have the connector broken (see picture). If so, please replace it. You can find them at petrol stations and hardware stores.
The fuse we are looking for is located at the side of the lower bed, under the kitchen. The fuse to check here is the 25A fuse, which is the fifth for models with the camping unit at the front and the third for models with the camping unit at the rear.
Wait a few minutes before plugging it back in. The heater should now work. If you still have problems, don’t hesitate to contact us.
