⛱️ Awning - Couple Condo (Winnebago Travato 59K)

Some of our Couple Condos have an electrical awning to provide you with refreshing shade.

Please be aware that the awning should never be used in rain or wind, as the awning can sustain extensive damage if it gets picked up by a wind gust. Always retract the awning when you leave the vehicle or retreat for the night. You are fully liable for any damage the awning sustains and a damaged awning is not covered by the liability insurance.

Here is how to safely set up your awning:

  • You can extend and retract them by just pressing the awning buttons on the lower side of the bed at the side entrance of the van:

  • Press ON to activate the system and then extend or retract to move the awning in or out.
  • You can also control the awning light using the designated button.
  • If you want to return the awning into its shell, just reverse this process.

Troubleshooting

There is a crank in the van only to be used for an emergency if your electrical awning should ever fail. It should be located above the driver’s side cabin. In order to use it in an emergency, you need to open the crank cover visible on the awning and then press the crank in quite hard and turn it manually.
