The cold protection valve automatically drains the boiler if there is a risk of frost. This prevents the drain from freezing. To ensure that the cold protection valve is switched on and the water supply continues to function, the blue lever must be set in the direction of travel and the blue button at the bottom of the valve must be pressed in.
