How do I have to clean my campervan at the end?

To ensure that everything goes smoothly when you return the vehicle, you will find the return checkliste in your customer account. This is adapted to your vehicle type and you can tick off each step to make sure you have thought of everything.

The following generally applies to cleaning when returning your campervan:

  • Please clean the interior of your campervan in the same way as you found it. The return checklist in your customer account describes in detail what you should pay particular attention to when cleaning your vehicle.
    • If the interior is returned in a very dirty condition and/or in the event of non-compliance with prohibitions (unauthorised transport of animals without the corresponding booking and smoking in the vehicle), additional cleaning fees may apply. You can find detailed information on this in the PDF at the end of this article.
  • If present: Please empty the fresh water and grey water tanks and the toilet cassette properly.
    • If you are looking for a disposal station to dispose of waste water and empty the toilet, then check Google Maps or here.
  • Please clean the windscreen of heavy soiling. You can find free cleaning equipment for this at most petrol stations. Please do not drive through an automatic car wash, as this can damage the pop-up roof or the wrapping.
