How do I return my campervan?

Please be punctual at the drop-off location at the time of your chosen drop-off time. You can check when and where to return your camper in your customer account and adjust the drop-off time up to 2 days before drop-off.

At the station, you hand the key to an employee who checks your returned vehicle for cleanliness and damage, which can take up to 20 minutes. Although we always try to meet the selected return time, there may be waiting times on particularly busy days. Therefore, please plan enough time for the return.

If any damage occurs to your vehicle during the return process, you may have questions about how to proceed. You can find the information here: An accident occured during my trip - what about the costs and my deposit?

To ensure that everything goes smoothly during the return process, please note the following:

  • Please clean the interior of your camper exactly as you found it. The return checkliste in your customer account describes exactly what you should pay particular attention to when cleaning your vehicle.
    • If the interior is returned in a very dirty condition and/or in the event of non-compliance with prohibitions (unauthorised transport of animals without the corresponding booking and smoking in the vehicle), additional cleaning fees may apply. Detailed information can be found in the PDF at the end of this article.
    • If you are looking for a disposal station to dispose of waste water and empty the toilet, then check Google Maps or here.
  • Clean heavy soiling from the windscreen. You can find free cleaning equipment for this at most petrol stations. Please do not use a car wash, as this can damage the pop-up roof or the film.
  • Please fill up the consumables (diesel and AdBlue) just before you drop off the fuel. You will usually find a petrol station near our locations.
    • If you do not return your fuel or AdBlue tank full, we will have to charge you a service fee. You can find more information in our terms and conditions.
  • Make sure that you have packed all of your personal belongings and emptied all of the compartments. Please also remove any rubbish.
  • Check that all of the equipment is in the vehicle and is complete.

After the inspection, the employee will inform you of the result. You can then find the return protocol in your customer account.
