Faucet and sink - Van Villa (VW T6.1 Knaus Tourer Van)

The taps in the kitchen and bathroom work with water from the fresh water tank. Make sure you have enough water in the tank. A pump that runs without water can break down!
You can see the levels of the fresh and waste water tanks in the on-board unit. Press the "Check" button and the lights come on. The first one indicates the fresh water tank and the second one the waste water tank:

To use the water, switch on the water pump on the on-board computer (symbol with a tap, above the on/off button). When it is on, it lights up. Remember to switch it off again when you are no longer using it.

The used water flows into the waste water tank. Remember to empty the grey water tank when the on-board unit indicates that it is full.

If you want to do a warm rinse, see how to do it here.

Please note the following

  • The sink is not suitable for washing up coarse food residues, as this may cause odours. In addition, the drain can easily become clogged.
  • Close the taps carefully so that the pump does not run continuously.
  • If odours develop, empty the waste water tank more often and rinse with biodegradable drain cleaner or some baking soda and vinegar
